Yesterday evening, Stefano Pioli's contract renewal was officially announced by the AC Milan club. His new deal runs until June 2025. The Rossoneri club management is hoping to continue the good work with him as they support him to try to get the seven-time Champions League winners back to the top of European football.
As per La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossoneri gaffer, with the new contract, will thus become the fourth longest-serving coach in the history of Milan.
With the new deadline set in 2025, in fact, Pioli could reach six seasons with the Rossoneri, all consecutive. More time than him in Milan was spent by Nereo Rocco (13 seasons), Carlo Ancelotti (8) and Nils Liedholm (8).
