Luka Jovic was one of the possibilities that AC Milan management explored during the winter transfer market, because his name emerged several times before the purchase of Mario Mandzukic. The Serbian striker has already been approached in the past, at the time it was Real Madrid who built the wall around the player, but later opened the centre forward's loan in January. But the operation for the Rossoneri never really took off and entered an advanced stage in this transfer window.
AC Milan like the qualities of Jovic, the management asked for a dry loan until June but the player, even though he liked the Rossoneri very much, preferred to return to Eintracht.
There is no technical motivation behind this choice, on the contrary: Jovic said no to many foreign clubs, he only gave a chance to Eintracht to return to a club he knew to pick up the pace of his lost goals in Madrid.
In addition, the presence of Ibrahimovic, Leao, and Rebic in the Rossoneri risked limiting the use of the Serbian striker. Jovic needs to play and so he chose Eintracht, who knows in the future.
AC Milan and Luka Jovic could cross paths again, the next few months will say more, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
