Didier Deschamps, France's national team head coach, spoke this morning to the microphones of Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport. Here are his words about Olivier Giroud who will paricipate in the World Cup:
"He knows what I want from him. His situation has changed compared to the European Championship, but I have faith in him for what he does on and off the pitch."
Deschamps added:
"His latest goals were not decisive (in the decision to call him up), the decision had been made for a while. It's better to have him with us. Everyone would like to be starters, but the group is more important."
