AC Milan are set to announce the contract extension of Algerian midfielder Ismael Bennacer. The player who dominated the midfield against AS Roma until he was substituted, is set to continue his journey with the Rossoneri after long negotiations.
As we have told you, the former Empoli and Arsenal talent is set to sign on a new 4 million euros net salary, a deal that will continue to include the release clause which is worth 50 million euros.
Further confirmations arrive from La Gazzetta dello Sport, the extension until June 2027 will be official in the next few hours.
Then, Milan will also focus on renewing Rafael Leao's contract. The newspaper wrote the following headline:
"Bennacer to sign, the announcement is missing. And Leao's father was in the stands yesterday..."
