Il Corriere della Sera in this morning's print edition write that Rafael Leao's contract renewal with AC milan experienced a slowdown.
There is some sort of a 'standby' situation regarding the extension talks. The reason behind this is the release clause. The player's entourage indeed are trying to lower it down to 70 or 80 million euros against the current 150 million euros.
As for the AC Milan club directors, they do not want to have a release clause at all in Leao's new contract.
