Noa Lang, the 23-year-old versatile left-winger of Belgian outfit Club Brugge, continues to attract interest. In fact, on Wednesday, he put on quite the performance during the match against Portuguese side Benfica in the Champions League round of 16 clash, he boasted an impressive feat of 10 successful dribbles against the Portuguese team. The last player to achieve such an important effort in a European competition was none other than Brazilian star of French giants Paris Saint Germain, Neymar.
Noa Lang's personality traits have been known to be rather difficult, but his abilities on the field are undeniable. Against Benfica, he won 18 out of 22 duels, which is a testament to his consistency and remarkable skills. He has already netted 7 goals and provided 3 assists to his teammates this season and he even aims to make a further leap in quality.
Lang had hoped to make a move last summer but was not able to do that due to AC Milan's inability to make an offer then. The Rossoneri club directors Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara had inquired about the Dutchman's availability in the market. But, they never followed through with a formal transfer offer to Club Brugge. Instead, they decided to sign one of Lang's teammates, Charles De Ketelaere who cost the club around 35 million euros, bonuses included.
Despite some obstacles in his way, Lang remains a much coveted starlet, and the AC Milan managers might try to sign him again in the upcoming summer transfer summer window. The 23-year-old talent is considered the ideal replacement for their Portuguese left-winger Rafael Leao, whose future is still not certain as he is yet to renew his contract with Il Diavolo. However, the Rossoneri will have to face stiff competition from several other clubs if they are serious for Noa Lang. In fact, one of the clubs who are really keen on him is Premier League outfit Leeds United. Nevertheless, AC Milan might have an advantage due to their good relation with Club Brugge, as detailed by Calciomercato.com.
