Milan Mayor, Giuseppe Sala, will meet with representatives of the AC Milan and Inter clubs tomorrow morning to discuss plans for a new stadium. As reported by Calcio e Finanza, the clubs are exploring other areas beyond San Siro to build their new home.
"I have invited them to come and see me tomorrow morning," Sala told reporters at a civic event. "Sometimes, even I don't have all the information and I have to read about it in the press. While it's clear that AC Milan are interested in La Maura, I don't know where Inter are looking. So, they will come to me tomorrow to shed some light on the matter."
The future of the San Siro stadium remains uncertain, but one thing is for sure: Milan's two giant clubs are keen on building a new facility. It remains to be seen whether the meeting with the Mayor will bring any clarity on their plans.
