AC Milan's Algerian midfielder, Ismael Bennacer, was interviewed by UEFA's official channel in view of the Tottenham fixture in London. Here are the words of the Rossoneri star:
"Going all the way in the Champions League? Even though we know it will be very difficult, nothing is impossible."
You won the Scudetto last season, but it's different this year and it is not easy...
"I see where we were three years ago and where we are now. Naturally, this club must go further. Personally, it's what I want. It's also what we want as a group. When we look at the goals we had three years ago, we talked about returning to the Champions League in the following three years. Our goal was to get back into the top four, and we even managed to win the Scudetto. When you work hard, you get results. We have to do more."
Bennacer on whether Zlatan Ibrahimovic offers him help:
"I'm very happy to have such a leader. He always wants everyone to go beyond their limits, no mistakes are allowed by anyone. This is also an ingredient of our success in recent years. Then personally, we get along very well. He gives me a lot of advice, he's really a good person. I'm proud to share the locker room with him."
This season, you have worn the captain's armband for AC Milan...
"It's a great honor. When you wear the armband, you have to be an example on and off the field."
