In the 9th minute of the second half, Theo Hernandez steps on the penalty area line and Fazzini, looking for the ball, tackles the Achilles tendon of the Milan left-back. Marcenaro does not award the penalty and relies on Valeri: the alleged lip reading "he took the ball first" said to Theo by the referee would not hold up since it seems that the Empoli player never touches the ball.
