AC Milan's French striker, Olivier Giroud, has granted an interview to Sky Sports and said these words:
"The achilles tendon problem? I trained separately on Wednesday and with the team on Thursday. And I had good feelings."
On the Euroderby:
"First, we have to secure a place in the top four in Serie A. Of course, in the Champions League semi-final we want to win, but we know it will be tough."
Giroud on the Champions League competition:
"AC Milan is a great European club, one of the most successful in the Champions League. And AC Milan 'must' be in the Champions League."
On the Milan derby, he said:
"Playing the derby is always crazy, exciting. But a derby in the Champions League semi-final is even more special. And we can't wait to play."
On renewing his deal with AC Milan, Giroud stated the following:
"I feel part of the AC Milan family, and as long as I can give something to the team, I have the motivation to play at a high level and be competitive. It was almost obvious that I would continue my adventure with AC Milan."
