Algeria national team head coach, Djamel Belmadi, has commented on the physical situation of AC Milan's midfielder Ismael Bennacer. During a press conference, he had these words to say:
"We cannot speculate on Bennacer's injury. The press doesn't know, and his club hasn't provided precise information. Do you know what medical confidentiality is? 4 months, 6 months, 7 months of unavailability, we cannot know exactly. It's a very rare and complex injury at his age. Of course, I would like to have Bennacer for the next CAN. However, I can't dwell on that if he's absent. We will work by filling his position, trying to explore other options. If he returns in time, el hamdoulillah, but if not, we will have to be ready."
