According to what is reported by Il Corriere della Sera in this morning's print edition, it is Marcus Thuram's week of truth. AC Milan are putting pressure on the prodigious boy (son of Lilian), an attacker who has not renewed his contract with Borussia Monchengladbach.
Marcus Thuram is the center-forward that the management of the Rossoneri has chosen to invest in, considering him ready to play a leading role alongside his compatriot Olivier Giroud. They have offered him a salary of 5 million euros per season, which is the basic fixed wage received by Rafael Leao, the highest-paid player in the squad, and a central role in Pioli's technical project. However, Thuram has been stalling so far, flattered as he is by the interest of Paris Saint-Germain, who have offered him a salary of 7 million euros net per season, but not a starting position in the lineup. But, Bundesliga side Leipzig are also on the race. It must be said, though, that the Germans were frightened when the player's entourage demanded a 10 million signing bonus from thm.
AC Milan, for their part, need to know the forward's inclination before changing their target.
