Christian Pulisic is a done deal for AC Milan, as we have anticipated two days ago (read here). Now, the Rossoneri will focus on finalising the final details related to the documents exchange before welcoming the player officially.

As reported this morning by Tuttosport, Christian Pulisic's move can be analyzed from two perspectives. The first, certainly more important from a sporting point of view, is the technical aspect. Milan acquires a player who is still young at 24 years old, but with a lot of potential to express and a great deal of international experience already acquired: he has won a Champions League as a key player (with Chelsea alongside Giroud) and has participated in the World Cup in Qatar. All this at the convenient price of a total of 22 million euros: 20 million fixed and a couple of bonuses. A good deal for a player who has faced fierce competition in England in the last two seasons and suffered some unfortunate injuries. However, this transfer move is also a very significant marketing maneuver. Milan welcomes the star of American football, beloved by everyone in his home country and perhaps already considered the strongest American player of all time: he is certainly the most successful one in Europe, the first to win the Champions League and currently the only one. Therefore, it's a great connection with the American market.

Now, AC Milan will focus on Tijjani Reijnders, as we have already told you yesterday. The Italians are closing in on the player (details can be found here). He can be the second reinforcement to the midfield department after Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

AZ Alkmaar, however, are still asking for 25 million euros with Giorgio Furlani and Geoffrey Moncada patiently trying to close te gap. A final offer of 21 million euros plus bonuses has been made. We await the response from the Dutch club. Meanwhile, the club already has an agreement in place for a four-year contract worth 1.7 million euros per season with the player.

Yunus Musah from Valencia, another American player, is also in the running for the midfield position: in this case, the asking price is very high, at least 35 million euros. If they want to complete the deal, it will require patience.
