From the stage of the event organized by AC Milan and BMW to celebrate the renewal of their partnership, coach Stefano Pioli spoke about how he found the team after the summer vacation. Here are his words as relayed by Milannews.it.
How did you find the players?
"I found them well, it's normal after 30 days of vacation. Certainly motivated, we are not yet the complete group, so we are waiting for next week to be complete (referring to the return of the national team players) and then try to have an excellent preparation; an important season awaits us."
On the USA tour, Pioli said:
"There will be prestigious friendly matches that will help us find our best condition: we need to approach them in the best possible way."
At what speed should Milan go?
"Like our partner BMW, we are very attentive to the environment, so at the moment, we are recharging our batteries to start as fast as possible but also to last. We try to be a hybrid machine, starting strong and maintaining a certain consistency. We are preparing well to be competitive and we will try to do our best."
