The Nigerian right-winger Samuel Chukwueze is on AC Milan's radar still. The Villarreal player is getting closer to joining the Rossoneri. The Italian and Spanish clubs have had positive contacts today. In fact, Villarreal have lowered their valuation to 30 million euros, and the agreement could be reached around 30 million euros plus bonuses.
According to what is reported by Calciomercato.com, AC Milan have already secured the winger's approval for a possible move. The player only wants to join the squad of Stefano Pioli. CEO Giorgio Furlani and his colleagues at Casa Milan are considering investing in the winger and therefore, a deal could be closed in a few days.
Right now, the ball is in AC Milan's court. In the next few hours, AC Milan club managers will decide whether to finalise the operation or not, a move that would exclude Mehdi Taremi's arrival. The recent acceleration also explains the move to free up space for the second non-EU player to be added to the squad. Milan, in fact, announced today the farewell of the 2004 class Boakye, acquired last March from MSK Zilina Africa, who could now be replaced in the squad by Chukwueze.
