Ahead of the match against Red Star Belgrade in the Europa League, sports director of the Rossoneri club, Paolo Maldini gave the following declarations to Sky Sport:
"My satisfaction is linked to the results of the team, I had no doubts during last year. The work done with Boban and Massara needed some time."
On Theo Hernandez:
"Sometimes, in football, you have to wait, especially when the team is young. Everyone has their own way of being a full back, sometimes we have to contain Theo Hernandez, who has incredible strength. He is improving a lot, he has grown in the aspect of personality. The players who have the most room to set are the full backs. Stankovic has always been a great opponent, he is doing well."
On the defeat to Spezia
"On Saturday we played really badly, while Spezia offered an excellent performance. AC Milan this year is different from last season's, Saturday's match shouldn't ruin our season. Psychologically, we should be fine. Before the match against Spezia, we had worked at a high intensity, but the result was negative. We have always managed to get out of the difficulties."
