AC Milan's coach, Stefano Pioli, suffered yet another defeat against Simone Inzaghi's Inter. According to La Repubblica, the coach must deal with this defeat and try to get his team and himself out of this dark tunnel.
The newspaper wrote that after this defeat, Pioli is now left dealing with the problem of loneliness. In fact, comaprison with the famous 0-5 loss against Atalanta in 2019 is inevitable. However, Paolo Maldini, Zovnimir Boban and Frederic Massara were there then to protect the coach then, Ibrahimovic arrived.
Today, the solitary Pioli speaks of a "mature team that learns from defeats" and of the visit to the locker room by CEO Furlani and his right-hand man Moncada (who responded at Milanello): "The management is standing firmly by us." But the first internal dissatisfactions after the 1-5 defeat are not concealable.
