AC Milan club management continue to work on keeping the core of Stefano Pioli's team intact and happy at Milanello. After renewing the contract of star left-winger Rafael Leao last season, eyes are now on the Frenchman Mike Maignan.
In fact, as per Calciomercato.com, the Rossoneri have ineed initiated first contacts with the agency of the former PSG and Lille player.
The AC Milan directors' aim is to extend Maignan's current contract until the year 2028. For now, he's on a deal which runs until 2026. The 28-year-old player is highly valued and the club does not want to let him leave, despite interest from a top European club recently, as per reports.
