Marco Sportiello, AC Milan's goalkeeper, was interviewed by the Rossoneri club's official channel before the match against Lazio, which will kick off at San Siro in a few minutes. Here are the words of the 31-year-old Italian:
"The games I played? It's been nice. It's not easy to be ready, especially for a goalkeeper coming into a match. It was important for me was to make the teammates feel that I am a reliable player. We're happy with the six points and we want continuity."
On the saves he made, Sportiello said:
"The one against Verona would have been harder if it was lower, but they shot it at a height I could handle. What mattered was what I did during the match, in the situations and reads. That's what counts for goalkeepers today."
On the match against Lazio, he said:
"They are a very technical team with great individual talents. They've had this coach for two or three years now. We're at home and we want to make our fans happy and bring the win home."
