Former Milan player Adel Taarabt gave an interview to Abu Dhabi Sports TV, during the show "A star in Abu Dhabi" talking about his time at the club and his unexpected departure, as relayed via Milan Press.

"My time at Milan was short, but at the time I was the best player despite the presence of people like Kaká, Robinho, El Shaarawy and Balotelli," he said. "The coach was Seedorf, who the club decided to fire to bring in Inzaghi, who had different ideas. After leaving Milan, I lost an entire year because I couldn't understand why I didn't stay at the club.
Taarabt added:
"For six or eight months I was relatively lost, but I found my energy again. Was I frustrated? A little, because I had worked my whole life to get to play for such a big club. Despite everything, Milan is part of my career, it's a club that I love and follow constantly."
