Gigio Donnarumma after leaving his club on a free in favour of PSG, will now face the Rossoneri. The Italian goalkeeper has spoken at a press conference about tomorrow's clash and said the following words:
"Against Newcastle, it was a game we could have done better in. We knew it would be a balanced match but it was complicated; we need to do well tomorrow. There's a lot of emotion for me to be here and play against Milan: tomorrow will be a very special match for me, playing against Milan is a particular emotion, but it's right that emotions stay outside. Milan are used to participating in big events, tomorrow will be difficult but we will give our all."
Donnarumma added:
"I feel good at PSG, in Milan there were 8 beautiful years, I will always be thankful to everyone for what they gave me, but here too there's a family I feel good with. I always tried to give my best at Milan, of course, the criticisms hurt a lot, but I hope that in the future there will be a chance to clarify, but for now, I remain focused on the match, which will be truly exciting for me. I have many friends in Italy and Milan, it wasn't easy for me to settle in here, but little by little, I built friendships here and now I feel at home."
Donnarumma continued:
"Luis Enrique? We started a new journey with a new coach, with whom we always try to do better and improve our style of play. Every day I try to listen to my coach. I've been here for 3 years and I'm very happy with my evolution, today there's much more experience in preparing certain matches. Pioli? He always prepares the matches well, but we are really ready to face this challenge. It will be a very balanced match, we will have to give our all. The goal is always to win each match we play."
Donnarumma concludes:
"Maignan? He's a great goalkeeper, he's the starting goalkeeper for the French national team, I'm very happy for him. Tomorrow is a great opportunity to compete with him."
