AC Milan's coach, Stefano Pioli, recovered Rade Krunic after the injury which was suffered in the match against Hellas Verona on September 23. He immediately pushed him to the starting lineup from the first minute, however, which is an evidence that highlights how the boss highly values and trusts the former Empoli player.

Franco Ordine shares his opinion about Rade Krunic's performance in Stefano Pioli's AC Milan:
"With Rade Krunic's return from the infirmary, today Pioli has the choice for the central midfielder role between the Bosnian and Yacine Adli", said Ordine on Il Corriere dello Sport's newspaper today and he added the following words about the former Empoli player's performance in Paris Saint-Germain:
"Krunic's start was a nightmare, a yellow card earned after an improbable stop and duels lost in a few minutes, then - once his diesel engine warmed up - he slightly stepped up his game, but Adli is a different story, a different level of technical and temperamental skill."
