The Rossoneri management did not appreciate the handling of the last few days by the agents who first tried to put pressure on the club by bringing the young talent to Milan without having everything agreed upon and then demanded high fees related to the free transfer.
Matija Popovic, the young talent who turned 18 on January 8 strongly wanted to make the move to AC Milan. However, it unfortunately could not happen and there is disappointment within the club due to how events unfolded.
The Rossoneri club technical director Geoffrey Moncada had identified Matija as the right talent for the future with the qualities to become a top class player. But now, it seems that it is time to turn the page and focus on other targets.
