Yesterday's was an evening that the Rossoneri will not forget for quite some time, for two reasons, one positive and one negative: Milan indeed came from behind to beat Udinese 3-2, demonstrating great character and a strong determination to never give up away from home. Unfortunately, the match was marred by an ugly incident involving Mike Maignan: shortly after Loftus-Cheek scored the lead for Milan, the Rossoneri goalkeeper was targeted by racist gestures from some Udinese fans, as relayed via Milan News.

The match was suspended for a few minutes as the French goalkeeper and the entire Milan team left the field to send a strong message. They returned a few minutes later, but, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport this morning, the interruption took away momentum and concentration from the Rossoneri, who shortly after conceded the equaliser from Samardzic. In the second half, Thauvin scored the 2-1, capitalising on a defensive mistake by Reijnders and Theo Hernandez in the penalty area.

It seemed to be another comeback suffered by Milan this season, but Stefano Pioli's substitutions proved decisive in turning the match around. The first to score was Luka Jovic, scoring his sixth goal of the season in the last seven games he played.

In injury time, Noah Okafor secured the victory with a goal from a corner kick. The Rossoneri take home three crucial points, securing their third place in the standings with a fourth consecutive league victory.
