The English midfielder has 7 goals and 2 assists registered to his name and he has featured in 30 matches across all competitions, playing a total of 2132 minutes.
His numbers have improved thanks to the more advanced role in the squad which Stefano Pioli has entrusted him with.
Now his season goal record is just three goals away: it was the 2018/2019 season when Loftus-Cheek scored 10 times for Chelsea under the management of Italian head coach Maurizio Sarri, as pointed out by the Italy-based website Milan News.
This year, he wants to repeat the feat and perhaps surpass it. After all, in that year, the Blues won the UEFA Europa League trophy, and Loftus was a significant part of that journey, despite missing the final due to an injury. So, there's also some unfinished business there.
