Adil Rami, former defender of Milan, spoke to Sky Sport's microphones, recalling his time with the Rossoneri and the difficult moments under head coach Filippo Inzaghi.
Here are his statements, first on his experience:
"I am in love with Milan, for me it is the strongest and most beautiful club in the world. It was an honour to play for this team, and I got along very well with Galliani and Berlusconi. In Milan, I was happy and strong, even physically. Then there was a person, Pippo Inzaghi. For me, he was a great footballer, but not a great man, just as he was not a great coach. To be strong, I need to be loved and appreciated, but he, I don't know why, didn't appreciate me. I lost all the confidence I had gained up to that point. The result? I left and won the Europa League."
If Milan could win the Europa League, Adil Rami said:
"They have everything, they are very strong. I really like this club, I'm pleased to see strong French players like Theo and Giroud. Then they have the best goalkeeper in the world for me: Mike Maignan. Oh my. We are beautiful, strong, and we have everything."
