There is some concern in the Rossoneri camp after the muscular injury suffered last night by Simon Kjaer during the friendly against Switzerland.
In fact, the Danish defender was forced to leave the field in the 66th minute, but in the post-match he wanted to reassure everyone about his condition.
Here's what he said, as relayed via those at Milan News:
"I hope it's not that serious. I felt a bit of discomfort and just wanted to play it safe. We're well into the season, so we also try to think ahead a bit and prefer not to take risks. I don't expect it to be anything too bad", he said to TV 2, the Danish public television channel.
Kjaer also added:
"If it had been a qualification match or for the Euros, I wouldn't have come off. Will I stay in camp with Denmark? I think so, but now we have to see how the situation evolves, but that was my initial feeling."
On Tuesday, Denmark has a friendly scheduled against the Faroe Islands.
