More than a year ago, Dario Osorio, the 20-year-old right-winger from Chile, was linked with a move to AC Milan. There were reports that claimed he was very close to joining the club. Eventually, however, a deal did not materialise. Now, the talented player plies his trade for Danish side FC Midtjylland.
The Danish football magazine Tipsbladet recalled this news and commented
"It's not that the revitalized AC Milan seems foolish after a title and a return to the top of Serie A in recent years, but the coaches and the sporting director must have had a bad espresso that day, 15 months ago, when they allowed Darío Osorio and his agent to travel back to Chile after a trial without a contract or transfer agreement with Universidad de Chile. Regardless of how this season ends for FC Midtjylland, Darío Osorio is quickly establishing himself as one of the most attractive young signings in the Superliga. What a great footballer Darío Osorio is. Hold onto him, now, quickly."
Dario Osorio's contract with Midtjylland ends in the summer of 2028. He joined the club last summer. So far this season, he has been able to score 8 goals with one assist in just under 1000 minutes of playtime across 19 matches.
