Milan Primavera lost their 7th game of the season against 13th placed Fiorentina side, coached by Alberto Aquilani on matchday 13 of the youth championship. Giunti’s players started the first 45 minutes dominating possession but not creating too many chances.
In the 28th minute, Milan created their first real chance when Mionic's freekick was deflected out for a corner after a foul on El Hilali.
Before the interval, El Hilali came closest to opening the scoring after darting through midfield but didn't trouble Fiorentina's goalie Brancolini, who made a very simple stop.
In the second 45 mins, the match started with a higher tempo with both teams coming close to scoring the opening goal of the match.
El Hilali missed a sitter in the 50th after great work by Mionic on the flank by beating two players and setting the attacker up in the eighteen-yard box only for him to hit it miles over the bar.
Four Minutes later, Fiorentina scored the opening goal of the match through Munteanu, after a fine through ball from midfield set him up against Milan goalkeeper Jungdal. It took the Rossoneri 15 minutes to respond, when El Hilali scored off a blocked shot by Mionic to bring the game level again.
IL Diavolo pressed forward looking for the winner but fell behind again in the 83rd minute when Pierrozzi scored from the edge of the box to put La Viola 2 -1 up. After just 2 minutes, Munteanu scored his second goal of the night and Florentina's third in the game with a 3-1 final score.
The Rossoneri has found it difficult scoring goals all season and today wasn't any different, Coach Giunti will have to find a solution to this and turn the inconsistent Rossoneri season for the better.
Today's loss leaves Milan with 18 points with 6 wins and 7 losses in 13 games.
