Monza has chosen Raffaele Palladino's replacement and that will be Alessandro Nesta.
As Sky Sport Italia explains, the former AC Milan defender is on the verge of joining the Brianza club, with the deal expected to be finalised shortly. Adriano Galliani, the CEO who knows Nesta very well from their time at Milan together, chose him because he has technical characteristics similar to Palladino.
The new Monza coach, who managed Reggiana this season, will sign a one-year contract with an option for another year under certain conditions. As for Palladino, he replaces Vincenzo Italiano at Fiorentina.
