AC Milan announces that Federico Guidi has been appointed as the new Primavera Coach.
Born in Florence on 23 December 1976, Federico Guidi began his coaching career at youth level with Empoli in 1999. In the summer of 2007, he moved to Fiorentina, coaching various age groups before making the step up to the U19s, with whom he reached the Scudetto Final in 2016/17. He'd previously led the Viola's U15s to the Scudetto title in 2010/11. He went on to coach Italy's U20 and U19 sides.
After those two spells in the Azzurri youth setup, Guidi gained further experience at senior level, coaching Gubbio, Casertana and Teramo in Serie C. In July 2022, he took charge of Roma Primavera, who he led to the Scudetto final last season. During his two-year stint with the Giallorossi, he won the Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana.
The Tuscan coach has now joined AC Milan Primavera, from this season the U20s, on a long-term contract. The Club would like to extend a very warm welcome to Federico.
