Around Milan, there is a lot of curiosity because, for the first time in four and a half years, there will be a new coach on the bench: Paulo Fonseca. This is the same feeling expressed by Fabio Cannavaro, who recently secured Udinese's survival in the last matchday and is currently still available on the coaching market.
The World Cup champion was interviewed today in the Gazzetta dello Sport and also spoke about Milan's situation.
Cannavaro's words about Milan:
"Milan is bringing an international concept that is still not widespread here: buying good players to develop them, selling them, and self-financing. The Americans especially do this. Fonseca comes from an important school, has a good system of play, but did not end well at Roma. I'm curious. Also because Pioli has left an important legacy."
