Milan are ready to make a concrete move on the transfer market.
TARGETS - The first target for Maldini is a defender. His favorite is still Mohamed Simakan. In the summer, Simakan's agent confirmed the player would soon be looking to move. Maldini had started a negotiation during the last market day. But, Strasbourg does not want to sell the player for a few millions. AC Milan already has an economic agreement with the player's agent: the Rossoneri have reached an agreement on a five-year contract for around €2M. Strasbourg has already turned down €12M this Summer. Maldini's offer is now around €15M, but the French are asking for more. Milan will continue to negotiate otherwise there will be other targets: like Kabak or Lovato.
Not just a defender: Maldini is also looking for a midfielder who can replace Kessié. There are no confirmations of an offer for Riqui Puig. The player is liked for his talented and young profile, but Milan want a player similar to Kessié. In addition, his club, Barcelona, wants to exercise their right of contract renewal.
No attack moves are expected: AC Milan has no interest in signing Papu Gomez. Many agents are offering their players these days but Milan continues to say no, like Llorente: an intermediary has offered the striker but Milan are not interested. Besides, Graziano Pellè was offered but Milan said they have other priorities for now.
SALES - The story between AC Milan and Musacchio has ended. Milan has already communicated to the player's agent that there will be no contract renewal. He will leave in June. Krunic, on the other hand, should stay: Freiburg has asked for the player once again but the Rossoneri would like to keep him until June.
Maldini also turned down some loan request from Serie B for Colombo.
