It has been reported by CorSport today that AC Milan is interest in Hellas Verona star midfielder Mattia Zaccagni. Now, confirmations arrive from Sky's Manuele Baiocchini that AC Milan is in fact interested.
The 25 year-old Italian can mainly occupy the role of attacking midfielder among other roles in midfield. The Rossoneri are currently suffering from absences such as injuries and disqualification. Therefore it could be possible that the Milan management is thinking to provide more affordable quality as addition to Pioli in view of the club's obligations: Serie A, Europa League, and Coppa Italia.
It was reported before that AC Milan is not just looking at Zaccagni as a possible reinforcement but also at their young centre-back Mateo Lovato. It remains to be seen if any progress will be made from this point.
