Former AC Milan coach and current manager of Everton spoke, Carlo Ancelotti, to Radio Deejay about AC Milan and its season so far. This is what he had to say:
“Milan are doing well because they are aware of the strength they have and are linked to this awareness. They know this is the year they can do something important.”
On the new signings:
“Tomori is good, we followed him too. Mandzukic is a guarantee. Scudetto? They showed that it can be a good year, they didn’t start with the Scudetto goal but they are there and always deliver results. Then there is Ibrahimovic who makes the difference.”
On being an Inter fan:
“I remained an Inter fan until I was 13-14, my idol was Mazzola. Then I went to Rome and became a Romanist. My history as a fan is varied. But there are teams that I have remained tied to, like Roma and Milan.”
