It appears that AC Milan management would still like to make one last operation during these final last days of the transfer market window. The aim is to sign a left-back that will act as backup for Theo Hernàndez.
According to what is being reported by SportMediaset's journalist Claudio Raimondi on Italia Uno, AC Milan managers will, in fact, keep trying until the last day to secure the services of 23 year-old left-back of Palmeiras Matias Vina. He would cost a transfer fee around €10 million. However, time is not helping as on Saturday the full-back is set to play CONMEBOL libertadores final against Santos and the mercato is set to close on Monday. It is therefore very difficult that such a transfer can happen.
There is a plan B for the club, however. It is Achraf Lazaar. He is a 29 year-old left-back playing currently for Newcastle, he is Moroccan nationality. But, even this operation is complicated to close as Newcastle do not intend to release him from his contract and are seeking compensation from the Rossoneri. The Milan leaders will try until the last day, but it is likely that in the end no one will come to be vice Theo Hernandez.
