The last derby between the two Milanese clubs witnessed more than just goals. It went beyond just playing football. Lukaku looked to be nervous and angry after a foul committed on him by Alessio Romagnoli. Then, the Belgian striker starts to chase the Rossoneri captain, but the Swede champion Zlatan Ibrahimovic intervenes to defend his teammate. From there, a verbal clash started between the two giants which became the main highlight of the match.
It was reported yesterday morning that a federal investigation has been opened and that the referee Valeri was summoned to talk about what he has seen and his match report. According to Gazzetta dello Sport in today's edition, the prosecutor wants to clarify what happened between Ibrahimovic and Lukaku. Video and audio clips will be analysed. Then it will be decided whether to proceed further on the case or not.
The newspaper claims that the focus will be mainly on these offending phrases: "Go do you voodoo" by Ibrahimovic and"I will shoot you in the head" said by Lukaku. But in particular there will be focus on Zlatan who may have violated Article 28 on discriminatory behavior.
