Simon Kjaer had been injured since the Coppa Italia derby game against Inter. The Dane defender had to leave the pitch just after twenty minutes from the start of the match. Ever since then, Chelsea's loanee, Fikayo Tomori has shown that he is capable to fill his shoes.
Kjaer has been recovering and has returned recently to training. According to what is being reported by Milannews.it, it seems that the 31 experienced centre-back is ahead of Fikayo Tomori in view of starting the Serie A matchday 22 against Spezia tomorrow.
The Dane should take back the slot alongside Alessio Romagnoli, while Tomori would consequently go to the bench.
