AC Milan are eyeing up a summer move for Lens' central defender Facundo Medina who is 21 years old from Argentina, a central-defender who has been attracting interest around him due to his potential.
However, Stefano Pioli's side will have to compete with Manchester United for the 21-year-old's signature.
Medina, who joined Lens from Argentine side Talleres last summer for around over 3.5 million euros, has excelled in Ligue 1 this season. The 21-year-old's composure and ability on the ball, and his defensive reading of the game are his great attributes.
Thanks to his good form, Medina received his first call-up to Argentina's senior squad in September last year.
In fact, Calciomercato.com report that AC Milan have highlighted Facundo Medina, 21, and Loic Bade (20 year-old French defender) as two of their potential transfer targets for the summer to reinforce the defense. But, not only them, from Lens, there is a third quality player being in Milan's list who is Cheick Doucouré (21 year old Malian midfielder).
Manchester United are said to be 'very serious' about their interest in Medina and could 'officially' launch a first offer of £11m, as claimed by Dailymail.co.uk.
