According to Francesco Letizia, the AC Milan club owner and RedBird founder, Gerry Cardinale, has had indirect preliminary contacts regarding the acquisition of Saudi club Al-Nassr, where legendary forward Cristiano Ronaldo currently plies his trade.
Obviously, this is not a concluded deal, but rather a request for information.
As reported by Gianluigi Longari, the American fund, RedBird, intends to build a multi-club ownership model centred around Milan and is exploring the Saudi opportunity along with potential expansion options.
