AC Milan is going through a difficult period at the moment, with two defeats in a row in the league against Spezia and Inter in the Derby della Madonnina. In between, there was the frustrating, yet positive, draw against Red Star, which could have been easily a win.
Now, it is clear that the Rossoneri team is still lacking some skills and technical abilities to really become superior, especially on the right offensive flank.
That is why the club's management has been working to secure a signing of a quality player on the right-flank.
In fact, according to what is reported via Calciomercato.com, the club led by technical director Paolo Maldini and sporting director Frederic Massara are currently thinking of three profiles to bolster the attacking midfield line.
The first one is the 28 year-old French winger of Marseille in Ligue 1, he has been heavily linked to a move to the Rossoneri. Florian Thauvin can indeed sign with any club now since his current contract is set to expire at the end of the season.
The second name on the list is another soon-to-be free agent from the Liga Nos in Portugal: the Brazilian 26 year-old attacking midfielder who can also play as a right-winger: Otavio. It should noted that the player is also a holder of a Portuguese passport.
Finally, the third name who has recently been linked with Milan is Lille's skilled young jewel Jonathan Ikoné. The French talent is worth around 30 million euros.
All these names mentioned above are possible transfers for AC Milan. The goal is clear, to add value and quality to the right side of Stefano Pioli's starting lineup.
