Monza CEO Adriano Galliani recently told an interesting background of the deal that brought Mario Balotelli to Brianza.
These are his words according to L'Equipe, regarding the deal that brought former Milan and Inter striker to Monza.
"Raiola did not want a commission, he told me to choose Mario's hiring, but it was a negotiation of a second." the Monza CEO said.
Galliani knows Balotelli well from his time as AC Milan chief executive during his two spells at the Rossoneri.
The enigmatic Italy striker joined Monza as a free agent after he was released by Brescia amid reports claiming that he had repeatedly failed to turn up for training.
