Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic is set to become the subject of transfer speculation in the summer transfer window. The Serbian defender has long decided to leave the Viola to try a new professional experience with one of Europe's top teams.
The Florence-based club has not been able to find an agreement with Milenkovic agent Ramadani whose contract expires in the summer of 2022, but all hope for a renewal is not completely lost but the chances of the defender signing a renewal are very slim.
Manchester United, Liverpool, and Tottenham are currently evaluating the economic parameters of signing the center-back at the end of the season.
Inter is also a possible destination for the wantaway defender who has long been admired by coach Antonio, the Serbian defender was to take place of Milan Skriniar whose negotiation with Tottenham failed last summer. The strong approval of the Nerazzurri coach is a factor that must be taken into consideration even if at the moment, there are uncertainties about Inter's financial situation.
Finally, Milan has been an admirer of Nikola for a while now and they tried in October to get his signature but La Viola supremo Rocco Commisso requested a whopping 40 million euros, a commitment the Rossoneri could not make. With just one year left on the Serbians contract his evaluation would have dropped by at least 10 million euros and it could be a good bargain for IL Diavolo.
Ramadani the 24-year-old defender's agent is also the agent of Ante Rebic and is in close contact with the Rossoneri which would make negotiation less difficult for Milan. Milan technical director Massara wants to redeem on-loan Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori who remains Milan's plan A on a 28 million euros deal.
