Ireland International Cathal Heffernan, who is currently on the U17 squad at Cork City, is reportedly set to train with a host of Italian clubs this summer, including Juventus and AC Milan.
According to the Irish outlet Cork Beo, the 15-year-old with 10 International caps with his national team, will travel to Europe for the next stage of his career after Brexit put a stop to Irish youths under the age of 18 signing up for English clubs.
Therefore, once he turns 16 in April, Heffernan will be allowed to move to Europe and join clubs there.
