According to Tuttosport, the Inter hierarchy is slowing down the plan of constructing a new stadium for both Milanese clubs. Suning is currently looking for investors who will buy a minority stake at the club temporarily before acquiring full ownership.
Leaders of Milan and Inter have made their intentions known regarding the construction of a new state-of-the-art stadium near the current San Siro that would be a modern replacement for the existing structure, with the club's detailing documentation with clarification on the project to the Milan district council.
The word out there is that should Suning sell Inter Milan, the plans for the new sports facility will be revisited and the building of a new stadium with Milan could be questioned according to the report.
There is a major doubt about the stadium project due to Inter's intention to sell but the idea of a new stadium cannot be totally ruled out by the Milanese sides as it would be a source of revenue for them.
