Milan target Florian Thauvin, whose contract with Olympique de Marseille is expiring by the end of the season, has spoken about his future in the press conference today. Here are his statements:
On renewing his contract with OM:
"I don't know at all, more important things have happened in the last few weeks, it hasn't been easy for everyone. My future, I have no idea, I've always had a very good relationship with Pablo Longoria, I don't know more than that at the moment".
On discussions with club president Pablo Longoria:
"There were discussions between Pablo and my entourage. We did not manage to reach an agreement in December, but that did not mean that the discussion was closed".
On his future:
"A player at the end of a contract always has questions and is not at 100%. When you are not 100% physically or in your head, you cannot get the best of you. We find ourselves in this situation after a decision of the old management. (Can the change of president make things more fluid?) Why not, all the cards are redistributed with a new management".
