Speaking through the microphones of Sky Sport 24, the Italian transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio has spoken about the future of AC Milan's goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma. Here are his words:
“Juventus today have the two goalkeepers for next year, they are Szczesny and Perin. Then if Szczesny goes away it's other talk, they [will] try to take Donnarumma. At the moment, however, Szczesny remains today, the goalkeeper market is blocked so much so that Donnarumma has not found a buyer who is ready to sign him immediately because all the big names are in place. PSG have Navas who has become an idol, Real Madrid have Courtois, all of them have a reliable goalkeeper. Either the domino starts that one of these big [clubs] unloads the goalkeeper and sells him, and then be ready to sign Donnarumma for free, or it becomes difficult even for Gigio to find a technical and economic solution that reflects his present and future value”.
