After 8 years of dominance from midfielder Dominika Škorvánková, AC Milan goalkeeper Mária Korenčiová was named Player of the year 2020 by the Slovak Football Association.
Korenčiová is a 32-years old goalkeeper and has been the main rossonere's goalie since their first season in 2018/2019. She has also been called-up by the Women's Slovakia National Team head coach Peter Kopúň for the international friendlies on April 10th and 13th against, respectively, Mexico and Slovenia, when she will face her teammate Dominika Čonč.
