According to Calcio Mercato, parties are not aligned in terms of a renewal between Fiorentina and captain German Pezzella.

Yet, the future of the Argentine defender in purple is increasingly in question, with a contract expiring in 2022 and agreement to renew it which, to date, seems very far away.

The Rossoneri, a few hours after the end of a session, made a concrete attempt with the Viola, without however being able to convince them to deprive themselves of another leader, in the same moments in which Federico Chiesa was moving to Juventus.
In the view of the transfer market, Pezzella can represent an opportunity for Maldini and Massara: he is esteemed by former manager Pioli, and can be an excellent name to complete the department in the event of the possible sale of captain Romagnoli. Milan will think about this decision, as well as Napoli and Roma, as a lot of changes are expected in defense for the Rossoneri.
