After the victory against Genoa in Serie A, AC Milan defender Simon Kjaer was interviewed by DAZN. Here are his statements:
On the victory at San Siro:
“Three points but it counts much more. Seven games without winning here is not normal for us, an important victory. We suffered a little we had to close it first. We showed a good step forward compared to the other matches”.
On the save on the line and the missed goal:
“I prefer to score the goal rather than these saves. It is close, I do not know how many bars I took ... In the end, the important thing was to win”.
On the clean sheet:
“Excuse the word, but in many matches we conceded sh*tty goals, even today. We take a goal that we must not take. Sometimes it is like this, then sometimes luck is with you. The important thing is to win, there is always something to improve. Now 7 finals, we must reach as high as possible and bring Milan back to where it deserves”.
